Crunchy: someone who changes their lifestyle in order not to cause anymore damage to Earth.
Frugal: living on less money, learning how to save and spend less on what you want.
I try to be frugal for the sake of my family and our goals in life. i try to be green/crunchy…whatever you want to call it for not only the sake of my family, but my grandchildren, their children and so on. It is a hard road to travel to save money and save the planet if you don’t know what you are doing. Starting out I didn’t really know what I was doing and to be honest I still am flying my the seat of my pants. I am doing my best and I want to share my knowledge with whoever is willing to read it.
I think being eco-friendly intimidates a lot of people. Like it is an all or nothing thing, but in order to live a happy life I believe that you need to have a healthy balance of frugality and crunchiness. You don’t have to go to the store and buy all the items marked “chemical free”, you can make most of the with products you already have in your cabinet. Ask your grandmothers what they used to clean their house and most of them will probably give you some answer that contains the words vinegar and water. Being crunchy is affordable if you know how to do it. Before chemicals were used in everyday life everyone was crunchy. It can be done without braking the bank and I’m going to show you how.
